Winter in Zell am See-Kaprun

During winter time the multifaceted skiing area of the Schmittenhöhe is situated around the corner. Just a few steps separate you from the cable-car stations which take you right to the ski fun. Not only skiers are fascinated by the panorama of the surrounding mountains and the winterly lake Zell. Furthermore you can find a picturesque winter trail in 2.000 metres above sea level. Together with the skiing area Kitzsteinhorn and Maiskogel in Kaprun AND the connection to the neighbour-valley of Saalbach-Hinterglemm you have access to the biggest continuous ski-area with 408 kilometres of interesting and best-groomed slopes. Non-skiers can get into the joy of plenty of possibilities like cross-country slopes, coasting slides, snowshoe walks and ice skating rinks.
